There is a
man inside you that is the hope of glory, the hope of glory not just
for you but for the whole world. When this man is revealed, He will
deliver the creation from the hand of the wicked and wipe away all
tears from their faces. That man is the solution to the problems of
man, only in Him can problems be solved. The whole world is seeking
this deliverance but we are now understanding that the only solution is
in that man hidden in us. It was a mystery up till now,
but it is being brought forth in the sight of the nations and all
who hear and understand it will be healed.
Colossians
1:25-28
26 the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from
generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. 27 To
them God willed to make known what are the riches of the
glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in
you, the hope of glory. |
The solution to our problems will
never be in hospitals and research for better drugs, the solution is
not in moral ethics of government, it is not in women's lib movements,
it is not in religion, it is not in getting physical healing at
Pentecostal crusades, it is not in education nor is it in Family
values. The solution is in the man within, the man is called Christ
and is the one that was with the Father in the beginning before we
came forth in flesh form.
Romans
8:18-22
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time
are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be
revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the
creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.
20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly,
but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the
creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of
corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
|
Is it not
wonderful to realize that as you awake to the realization of that
man within, not only will you be healed but those who hear you
and behold you will also be saved. That man within is
light, He is the beloved of God, He is the love of God, He is
eternal life, He is one with the Father. Up till now the man was
hidden in clay vessels so that all we saw and thought after was
after that clay vessel. The revelation and understanding that is
coming now will break this clay vessel so that what is hidden in it
will come forth. Before now we identified ourselves with that
external man of the flesh which is the clay vessel. We identified
ourselves as male or female, as Black or white, as rich or poor, as
American or African. Those believes are not true, the truth about it, is that our
true identity is heavenly and not earthly, before the flesh or world
was, we were with the Father. We are not that flesh
body, we are not that vessel of clay. We are supposed to use the
flesh to declare and manifest our true identity, We are supposed to
use our vessels of clay to reveal the contents within it.
Gideon's
army
Just like in the days of
Gideon, God is raising up an army that will bring to null the
princes of darkness and all their powers that war against the light.
Remember that God manipulated all the old testament characters to
show forth His eternal purposes of Love towards His people. The army that
God is raising up might not be as many as one might have expected,
very few will qualify to be in that company likened to that which Gideon raised
up in His day.
Judges
7:1-23
7:1 Then Jerubbaal (that is, Gideon) and all the people who
were with him rose early and encamped beside the well of
Harod, so that the camp of the Midianites was on the north
side of them by the hill of Moreh in the valley. 2 And the
LORD said to Gideon, "The people who are with you are too
many for Me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest
Israel claim glory for itself against Me, saying, 'My own
hand has saved me.' 3 "Now therefore, proclaim in the
hearing of the people, saying, 'Whoever is fearful and
afraid, let him turn and depart at once from Mount Gilead.'
" And twenty-two thousand of the people returned, and ten
thousand remained. 4 But the
LORD said to Gideon, "The people are still too many; bring
them down to the water, and I will test them for you there.
Then it will be, that of whom I say to you, 'This one shall
go with you,' the same shall go with you; and of whomever I
say to you, 'This one shall not go with you,' the same shall
not go." 5 So he brought the people down to the water. And
the LORD said to Gideon, "Everyone who laps from the water
with his tongue, as a dog laps, you shall set apart by
himself; likewise everyone who gets down on his knees to
drink." 6 And the number of those who lapped, putting their
hand to their mouth, was three hundred men; but all the rest
of the people got down on their knees to drink water. 7 Then
the LORD said to Gideon, "By the three hundred men who
lapped I will save you, and deliver the Midianites into your
hand. |
The Midianites, the
Amalekites and the nations of the east are types
of the powers of darkness that encompass the world today, the chief
of it is the power of death. We know that the problems are
innumerable like the sand of the sea, try to number the sicknesses,
demons, fears, poverty, tears and sorrow if you can. No wonder the
bible carefully records the fact that the midianites were innumerable.
Judges
7:12
12 Now the Midianites and Amalekites, all the people of the
East, were lying in the valley as numerous as locusts; and
their camels were without number, as the sand by the
seashore in multitude. |
There is a tendency
to feel that it is possible to completely overcame the powers of the
evil one but we will find out how God is going to do this.
God will use certain
vessels that have been predestined unto honor from the foundation of
the world. This ones will be people who will not fear the
contradictions and the persecution that will arise from standing for
the truth. Just like Gideon sent back 22,000 people who feared to
lose their life so also those who fear and not trust the living God
will be disqualified. Fear of persecution and lack of trust and
faith in God is a major cause of stumbling in most people who hear
the message of the kingdom. They fear their families will call them
weird, they are afraid that their Church brethren will cast them
out, some are afraid that they will lose their position in Church.
Some are afraid of how they will be clothed, how they will feed and
how they will be housed, but they ignore the fact that God who by
His power holds the universe together and can accomplish the work He
started in them. They forget that God is not unrighteous so that He abandon's those who seek Him. Man has forgotten God is not a man
that lies, they therefore see God in the light of man who is not
trustworthy. We have to shake off fear and realize that the more they
persecute you the more God elevates and glorifies you in His
kingdom so that it only becomes a matter of joy. We have to realize
that God will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory.
As He supplied for the thousands in the wilderness for forty years,
as He supplied for Elijah through Ravens, as He supplied bread for the thousands through Jesus so will He supply us according to His
riches in glory. As He protected Abram to the Israelites through
the wilderness so will He protect and care for us, so never let fear
and unbelief cause you to turn back like the multitudes.
The Second category of
people who were turned back are those knelt down at the river bank
to drink water. They were sent back because they were not in a
watching position, by kneeling down and drinking the way did
they let down their guard and concentrated on the water losing
consciousness of the surroundings. 300 fetched water with their palms
and lapped the water like dogs, these ones were in a watching
position as they drank their water not losing consciousness of their
surroundings. These group of three hundred are watchmen who are not
carried away with this world but constantly watching and listening in the
spirit. Watching is a must for Christians who want to be glorified.
Watching is the art of being God conscious and seeing all things
after the truth. If you are not watching you are asleep spiritually
and this can lead to only death. The moment we fail to watch
remember you only give room for the Devil to come and operate with
you like He did to Adam. For Adam to have heard the voice of the
serpent, He must have slept, He for a moment slipped from God's
view, that is why He heard the Devil. The voice of God never left
the garden it was Adam who left the presence of God, He simply was
not watching. So if we are to be in the company of over comers let us
always be in the position of the watchman always walking in the
spirit and see things after the light of God.
God was now ready with the
three hundred, He told them to do something that sounds foolish in
the sight of man. They divided themselves into three companies and
each had a trumpet and a pitcher in their hands. The pitchers had
torches in them and God directed that at midnight they should sound
the trumpets and broke the pitches. At midnight they blew the
trumpets and broke the pitches therefore causing the torches hidden
in the pitchers to shine forth. We know what happened afterwards,
the Midianites were scattered in confusion, they were beaten by
three hundred men. God by the spirit is saying that all we have to
do is break our pitches of clay so that the light man within shines
forth. We have to cry out with the message of redemption of the Lord
and of Jesus Christ and cause the Christ within us to be revealed.
That man within us is light, it is that light that shone in the
beginning with the Father. That light was first manifested in the
flesh through Jesus and now is manifested through we who get the
revelation of that man Hidden in the clay pitchers. As the pitchers
of clay Jars are broken all the power of darkness will fade away,
because darkness can not comprehend the light, it can not resist
the light. If you shine light in darkness, what happens ? The
darkness disappears. So the answer to all the problems of humanity
lies in the revelation of that light man hidden within the clay
vessels.
Judges
7:19-23 19 So Gideon and the hundred men who were with him came to the outpost
of the camp at the beginning of the middle watch, just as they had
posted the watch; and they blew the trumpets and broke the pitchers that
were in their hands. 20 Then the three companies blew the trumpets and
broke the pitchers--they held the torches in their left hands and the
trumpets in their right hands for blowing--and they cried, "The sword of
the LORD and of Gideon!" 21 And every man stood in his place all around
the camp; and the whole army ran and cried out and fled. 22 When the
three hundred blew the trumpets, the LORD set every man's sword against
his companion throughout the whole camp; and the army fled to Beth
Acacia, toward Zererah, as far as the border of Abel Meholah, by Tabbath.
23 And the men of Israel gathered together from Naphtali, Asher, and all
Manasseh, and pursued the Midianites. |
That light
man hidden within that clay jay is also the bread of life that comes
down as a free gift to the whole world. No wonder the night before
the attack a man in the enemy camp had a vision of a loaf of bread
that tumbled into the camp of the medianites and knocked down a tent.
God was through this vision confirming that He would knock out the
medianites through Gideon. Prophetically speaking that bread is
Christ. We who come to the true knowledge of ourselves and walk in
that knowledge are that bread from heaven, we are one bread with
Jesus being His Body. The world has to eat this bread to live,
they have to eat this bread if they want to be healed from the
wounds inflicted on them by the Devil.
Judges
7:9-14 9 It happened on the
same night that the LORD said to him, "Arise, go down
against the camp, for I have delivered it into your hand. 10
But if you are afraid to go down, go down to the camp with
Purah your servant, 11 and you shall hear what they say; and
afterward your hands shall be strengthened to go down
against the camp." Then he went down with Purah his servant
to the outpost of the armed men who were in the camp. 12 Now
the Midianites and Amalekites, all the people of the East,
were lying in the valley as numerous as locusts; and their
camels were without number, as the sand by the seashore in
multitude. 13 And when Gideon had come, there was a man
telling a dream to his companion. He said, "I have had a
dream: To my surprise, a loaf of barley bread tumbled into
the camp of Midian; it came to a tent and struck it so that
it fell and overturned, and the tent collapsed." 14 Then his
companion answered and said, "This is nothing else but the
sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel! Into his
hand God has delivered Midian and the whole camp."

1 Corinthians
10:17 17 For we, though many, are one bread and one body; for
we all partake of that one bread. |
As we hear this mysteries
let it be like the vision assuring us of the end of our faith in
Christ. God is revealing to us in this hour that the solution to the
problems of mankind is that man in us. All we have to do to win this
battle is to allow that inner man in us to grow. How does it grow ?
by coming into fellowship with the Father and son. It is a sacred
inner fellowship that occurs for those who true seek the kingdom. As
we shed the out man of Clay with it's thoughts and self will and
allow the inner man with it's knowledge of God the Father and
awareness of the true kingdom of God we pass the midnight point.
Midnight prophetically is the turning point from night to day, the
sun begins to rise and rises till it reaches it's peak at noonday.
where there is no darkness at all.
The Apostle Paul spoke
about the man in the clay Jar in a letter to the Corinthians, I
want you to read Chapter 4 of 2 Corinthians.
2 Corinthians 4
4:1 Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have
received mercy, we do not lose heart. 2 But we have
renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in
craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by
manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every
man's conscience in the sight of God. 3 But even if our
gospel is veiled, it is eiled to those who are perishing, 4
whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not
believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of
Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. 5 For
we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and
ourselves your bondservants for Jesus' sake. 6 For it is the
God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has
shone in our hearts to give the light of the
knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the
excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. 8 We
are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are
perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not
forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed-- 10 always
carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that
the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 11 For
we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus' sake,
that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal
flesh. 12 So then death is working in us, but life in you.
13 And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to
what is written, "I believed and therefore I spoke," we also
believe and therefore speak, 14 knowing that He who raised
up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will
present us with you. 15 For all things are for your sakes,
that grace, having spread through the many, may cause
thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God. 16 Therefore we
do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing,
yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. 17 For our
light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for
us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 18
while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at
the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen
are temporary, but the things which are not seen are
eternal. |
Paul talks clearly of that inner man
in earthen vessels he classified that inner man as a
treasure. He then talks about the dying process that destroys
the out man which is the earthly flesh man
and the revelation of the life of that hidden man in us. The
hidden man which is Christ can only
shine forth from within us if that outer vessel of Clay is
destroyed. We have to fight this fight of faith by standing
our ground even in tempting situations that
try to war against the revelation of the inner man. The wisdom and
knowledge of that outer carnal man has to be nailed to the cross so
that the wisdom and knowledge of the inner
man which is after God takes a hold of our whole being. It
might be a bit difficult initially but the difficulty can not
be compared to the glory of God that is to be
revealed in us when that man that was hidden in us breaks forth in
it's fullness. Jesus Christ likened
the inner man to a treasure that a man found in the ground, the
man knowing the value of the treasure sold all that He had to
obtain and watch over the treasure. Brethren
let the Lord open our eyes to this mystery
Matthew 13:44
44 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in
a field, which a man found and hid;
and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and
buys that field.
|
Those who hear this message and understand it sell off all they have
obtained in this vain world. All the
knowledge of self and the knowledge after the wisdom of the world
goes down the drain so that they can obtain this treasure
that is hidden in us. The message of the
kingdom has come to enlighten us and show us that treasure hidden
within, so be stirred up brethren. Let us allow the old Jar
of clay to be broken up so that the Christ
within Shines forth to the Glory of God the Father.
BLESSINGS
TREVOR EGHAGHA
