BAPTISM INTO THE GODHEAD
And he said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Mark 16:15 )
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)
Let us remind ourselves on the baptism with which we are baptized, in accordance with the will of God. Unfathomable grace has been unleashed on us so that we can stand firmly as sons of the God amid a dead world. With eagerness and gladness, we ought to listen again and again, and adhere to what we hear.
Today we hear clearly from the Father, no more obscure parables that lead men into dead traditional and ritualist worship. Today we go beyond the parable and with an unveiled face do view the works and saying of Jesus in truth.
Baptism by water or by fire is a concept that is accomplished strictly by faith, it is not a physical thing. What Jesus and some disciples did in the early phase of their ministry were simply acts that should be seen as symbolic. Even the disciples had to grow out of their old Hebrew beliefs of baptisms, laying of hands etc.
As an eternal pattern for sons who will be saved, Jesus was baptized by John in the river Jordan. It is recorded that when Jesus ascended out of the water, the Spirit of God descend upon Him, like lightening and as a dove, and a voice was heard from heaven, saying, “this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased”.
Notice that he Father, the Son, and the Spirit are all mentioned together for the first time ever in the lifetime of Jesus. This speaks volumes of the celestial order into which Jesus entered.
After this baptism, Jesus was never be the same again. He no longer identified Himself with the life of the human born some thirty years back of a mortal woman. From hence forth he identified himself with one who had been even before Abraham, Patriarch of the Israelites. He declared that his existence was from the beginning in God, and more baffling to the men of this age, He declared that He was the manifestation of the living God.
Symbolically as he was dipped into the water, the human died, and that which arose out of the water is a new creature consecrated to a new identity and a new world. He was ushered into a new heaven and a new earth, an eternal reality nested in one God and he remains the same to this day.
If you have truly heard and comprehended the marvelous gospel of truth, the world comes to an end as a new era of everlasting bliss in God is ushered in. The truth will lead you into baptism of death unto this present world, and new life in a new dispensation in the Spirit.
To ascend on high, you must be lowered into death…to live eternally, you must die. The finite one must decrease and the one before him must increase.
The new dispensation we are ushered into this very day is God’s world, where all live by one Spirit, in the Son who is Lord overall, and lives by the supreme name of the Father. The multitudes comprising nations, tribes, all schools of though unite with the One who inhabits eternity and live in the excellency His glory.
The many become one and do speak in unison, declaring the name of the Lord…they speak with a new tongue which no mortal man can understand. The new tongue in this eternal dispensation is the language of the Spirit. All speak and testify of the glory of God who is all in all in the creation. All things declare this excellent name and speak of the mystical union of the sons in that excellent name.
Your good work is to allow submit to the baptism which is a symbol death to the human and total dedication or consecration to God. From a stammering lip I the Son must speak the language of God and walk wholly in the incorruptible and immortal name of the Father. The son who honors the Father, walks worthily of the supreme name.
Henceforth I walk in a new eternal reality high above the comprehension of men, worlds without end. The old world of ignorance is passed away, and I embrace the divine I that am, in perfect harmony with those who are gathered.
Amen
