CONCEPTS OF HIS APPEARING
The revelation or appearing of the Lord
from heaven is one of the most anticipated events of all times.
The prophets in all realms of existence be it in Judaism,
Christianity, Buddhism and any type of religion refer to
the a time when the God of all appears from heaven to judge the world.
His appearance they say will reward the righteous and punish the
wicked and those who are ungodly.
The problem with these religions is the
fact that they have a veiled knowledge of this appearing. They
fail to recognize the appearing of the Lord from heaven the same
way they failed to recognize Jesus when He appeared. Of course
after the manifestation and death of Jesus in the days of old
they now raise up structures and new forms of religion that now
shift the focus of the Lord to that same flesh Jesus that
appeared over a thousand years ago. Many believe He will come
back with that same flesh body He processed over two thousand
years ago, but they will discover that The Lord is not that
flesh body they are looking forward to seeing.
This message series on His appearing will
seek to enlighten all of us on the appearing of the Lord from heaven.

WHY HE APPEARS
He appeared in that flesh body to manifest Himself in the seen
carnal realm, so that men could actually see, touch, hear and
taste of God in flesh form. John spoke about this experience
they had with Him.
1 John 1:1-2
1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have
heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we
have looked upon, and our hands have handled,
concerning the Word of life-- 2 the life was
manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and
declare to you that eternal life which was with the
Father and was manifested to us-- |
He is from the beginning with God the Father, He was in the
beginning before the physical, material and seen world came to
being, He is one with the Father, He is the Father, He is God.
He descended into the lower realms of existence to share in our
humanity and to reveal the truth that was before the world was.
What is the Truth ? The truth is God and His kingdom.
The appearing of the Lord is a mystery, it is one sought after
event that occurs again and again throughout the ages. This
event causes men to behold the glory of God in Flesh Form and
hear of things concerning the Lord and His kingdom. Paul spoke
of this mystery in a letter to Timothy, His son in the faith.
1 Timothy 3:15-16
16 And without controversy
great is the mystery of godliness:
God was
manifested in the flesh,
Justified in
the Spirit,
Seen by
angels,
Preached
among the Gentiles,
Believed on
in the world,
Received up
in glory. |
The mystery of His appearing is in His manifestation in Flesh
form so that all can behold Him, before this no one sees God in
physical form, He is spirit. Those who are saved see Him in His
true form by perceiving Him with spiritually enlightened eyes
not on any physical throne anywhere in a location men call
heaven. In the book of revelation those angels or servants or
messengers of God actually perceive Him with spiritual eyes that
have been enlightened by the spirit of the Christ. All those who
are saved do stand before Him continually and perceive Him
spiritually. So the manifestation in flesh Form is another thing
all together, it is heaven revealed on earth, like the invisible
kingdom of God (Jerusalem) descending from Heaven in the view of
the world. Creation beholds as a spectacle the fruits of love,
mercy, peace, patience, longsuffering, humility, health,
wisdom and the glory. They behold the power of God that
liberates spirits of men that are locked up in the prison houses
of corruption. This power can be likened to that of Moses and
Joshua when they appeared to deliver the ransomed of the Lord,
so that they could reign in the glory and liberty in God's holy
mountain Zion. The powers of this dark age who can be likened to
Pharaoh and His forces, are put to shame over and over again at
the appearing of the Lord.
The Lord also appears to preach about the good news of His
kingdom, He tells the world of an open gate into the glory of
His kingdom. He tells them they can come out of their lack of
faith, their fears, insecurity, sicknesses, diseases and all the
ills of this world by hearkening to His message by forsaking
this world and entering into His world (God' kingdom). He
demonstrates the fruits of the kingdom and shows them the all
power he processes, He tells them it can be all theirs if they
believe Him. He comes to save the world lost in ignorance by
enlightening it with His message of truth from the God's
invisible kingdom, a message hidden from our view from the
foundation of this dark world. Riches in glory for our good and
consumption that has been hidden from the view of man are
brought to light so that man is given that opportunity to leave
His state of poverty into the riches of Christ. His
enlightenment brings about liberty, healing, fruitfulness
through a recognition of our true selves and our oneness with
God.
Isaiah 61:1-3
"The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the
LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the
poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To
proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of
the prison to those who are bound; 2 To proclaim the
acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of
vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, 3 To
console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty
for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment
of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may
be called trees of righteousness, The planting of
the LORD, that He may be glorified." |
HE PREACHES TO ALL SPIRITS
Jesus performed miracles and many great works on the carnal
physical realm but he was more concerned that the people
received of His teachings. He likened this word as the bread of
life that makes us to live again eternally. His preoccupation
was that they believe His testimony of God's kingdom and to
enter in and be saved. Of course He achieved this and multitudes
were saved, not just those that lived in His days but also
multitudes who had died in generations past. So those of you who
have lost loved ones in the past should believe that the Lord
can still reach out to them to save them. Always remember that
spirits in prison are not just those you see in flesh bodies,
they could also be those who have died and left their flesh
bodies. All those in this category who are not saved still have
a chance of beholding the Lord and getting their healing.
1 Peter 3:18-20
18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just
for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being
put to death in the flesh but made alive by the
Spirit, 19 by whom also He went and preached to the
spirits in prison, 20 who formerly were disobedient,
when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the
days of Noah, while the ark. |
People have interpreted 1 Peter 3 to mean that when Jesus died
on the cross He went below to a location called Hell to preach,
they say He preached for three days in Hell. That is a lie from
the pit of Hell. From the moment the spirit (Christ) descended
into the man Jesus, what we saw was a descending of God's spirit
from heaven into the lower parts called hell. The physical
carnal realm where man inhabits outside the presence and
knowledge of God is Hell, it is a place of fear and torment
where things never go well. It is a placed where the inhabitants
are continuously destroyed and separated from God. Jesus had to
take up the cross by losing His own identity as a man born of
woman, a Hebrew, a man, a carpenter etc and take up the identity
of that Christ that descended from above in obedience to the
Father. From that moment of baptism it was no longer Jesus but
Christ doing all through Him. He preached to all in this fallen
realm, by all I mean both those in flesh form and angel
(spirits). So that all of them received of the salvation of God.
Even the prophets that were before Jesus were saved and
resurrected with Him into glory.
Matthew 27:49-53
50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and
yielded up His spirit. 51 Then, behold, the veil of
the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and
the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, 52 and
the graves were opened; and many bodies of the
saints who had fallen asleep were raised; 53 and
coming out of the graves after His resurrection,
they went into the holy city and appeared to many. |
Some holy prophets who did not actually know God even though
they desired to, eventually benefited from His ministry and were
thus saved and taken into God's glorious invisible kingdom. They
appeared to many in Jerusalem as a sign, God did this as a sign
for people to understand His love that knows no bound. His love
reaches out to all no matter where they may be. The sign of the
risen prophets and holy men is by no means a pointer to the fact
that those out there in physical graves will come out of their
physical graves some day, No No. God is only showing us
things that happen spiritually. All men of this world who still
walk in the ignorance of their minds are like dead men in
graves, they do not see the truth, neither do they hear the
truth. Those in the grave do not speak and they are constantly
living in a state of death were the worms (agents of destructed)
do not die. Man without the truth is dead and constantly sinks
into ruin and destruction. When you hear the gospel and
comprehend it, you are lifted up out of the dark graveyard of
humanity and translated into God's kingdom of light and life.
This gift of God is not limited to men who possess flesh bodies
but to all.
If you study the scripture closely you will notice that spirits
recognized Him more easily than those in flesh form did, that is
why they normally cried out "you are the Son of God". These
spirits are spirits of men who have shed their flesh and they
are still very much around doing the same works they did when
they had the flesh bodies, they now work through people (except
if they are saved of course). (Always remember that all men are
spirits living in false identities of their carnal existence.)
An evil spirit is an imperfect, unclean and unregenerated spirit
that is still living outside the knowledge of the truth.
Mark 3:11-12
11 And the unclean spirits, whenever they saw Him,
fell down before Him and cried out, saying, "You are
the Son of God." |
So the ministry of the Lord during His appearing has no
limitations it is to all.
HIS RETURN TO GLORY
Jesus Christ at the end of the ministry was taken up into heaven
into the glory cloud of the Lord. Note that God gave that only
as a sign for those of us who are spiritual to discern. God was
simply showing that after His appearing He returns back to the
place He came from which is the very heart of God. Whenever
Christ Jesus said I go to the Father, He was indicating that He
came out of the Father in Heaven and descended to bring
salvation in the lower parts spiritually called hell and now
returns back to the original Father state. That cloud that
ascended was the same cloud that descended in form of a dove
during the baptism.
Acts 1:9-11
9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they
watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him
out of their sight. 10 And while they looked
steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two
men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also
said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up
into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from
you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you
saw Him go into heaven." |
THE RETURN OF THE LORD (THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST)
That same Spirit of Christ that operated through Jesus has
come again like the angels told the disciples, He came this
time in the form of fire. All throughout the scriptures
God's glory always appeared as clouds normally by day and
fire normally by night. The spirit descended into the
disciples on the day of Pentecost at night in the form of
fire. This was the lord coming down again as He said he
would. When the Lord appears the world does not see Him
neither do they discern Him, the world is still looking up
at the sky like the disciples did thinking that, that same
flesh Jesus will appear again in that form. They were
however corrected by the angels for their sakes. If we have
known Jesus after the flesh we know Him no more in this
manner, because He only used that flesh body for the work of
the ministry in His days. The work ordained for Him in the
flesh is finished, so He is now in the original spirit form.
2 Corinthians 5:16-17
16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one
according to the flesh. Even though we have
known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we
know Him thus no longer. |
The Lord is the spirit of Christ that dwelt in the Physical
temple that was Jesus.
2 Corinthians 3:17
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the
Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. |
Just as the spirit entered into Jesus and lived in Him, in
likewise manner it is resident in us who believe. Even
though when you confess before men that Christ is come in
you they say you are missing it. They say how can a mere
mortal sinner like you say that Christ dwells in you fully.
They say well to some extent He might dwell in Us but He is
still coming in the clouds up in the physical sky and then
we will see Him. That kind of thinking and doctrine is the
power of the anti-Christ who seeks to push back the
appearing of the Lord. He cunningly denies that Christ has
bought you with His blood and you ought to live in that
knowledge. Christ is very much in us and seeks to reveal
Himself to the world through us, the world can not
understand this. Even though you hear this being preach all
over the place they really do not understand what they are
saying.
John 14:15-17
15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And
I will pray the Father, and He will give you
another Helper, that He may abide with you
forever-- 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world
cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor
knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with
you and will be in you. |
Jesus already said that in the same way they rejected Him
and accused Him of making Himself equal to God in likewise
manner will they reject your testimony that Christ dwells in
you and you are the the very bodies of the Lord. Many people
still have problems because they have not discerned the
Lord's body. Our bodies are not ours but the Lord's we must
understand this, no matter how you feel.
THE REGENERATION AND JUSTIFICATION PROCESS
We do not remain the way we were though, the Lord does a
work of regeneration on those who receive His spirit and
word so that a new man is generated. This is the born again
process that every man must undergo. We are regenerated into
becoming the Christ Himself which of course is our true
identity that was hidden in the dust of our flesh. The lord
takes us out of the dust and first of all washes us up so of
the old so that the new man who is actually Christ comes
forth. Just like Jesus was not revealed to the world
immediately after He was baptized, he had to go through
forty days in the wilderness. He was led there by the spirit
so that He, learned by the spirit of God not to exchange the
glory of God for the glory of this world, that He should
live by the words that come from the mouth of the Lord and
that He should not tempt God. All these are contrary to the
thoughts and philosophies of man. The unregenerate man seeks
the glory of this world and lives by bread alone, they do
not know God talk less of temping Him.
All those who receive this spirit go through a period of
regeneration before they can boldly come forth revealing God
in the flesh. That forty days in the wilderness is a period
of training, learning and purification that all who enter
glory must pass. The old man is put to death and brought to
subjection of the spirit of God. All the worldly knowledge
about self we acquired from the day of our birth into this
dark world is purged and replaced with that heavenly
knowledge that comes from God. It could be a day for some,
it could be few months for others while other could go
through this from one to any amount of years. Moses forty
years in the wilderness was a shadow of this period of
chastisement that the sons of glory must pass through. Every
one who seeks glory and the fullness of blessing from the
God should patiently and obediently release Himself to the
spirit of grace.
FROM
EARTHLY TO HEAVENLY
We who are the
body were conceived in flesh form, in carnality and we bore
the image of that which is of the earth. That of the earth
is of the devil and is man. We now bear the heavenly image
after the illumination that comes from the knowledge of God
through the face of the Lord Jesus. The heavenly image is of
God and of a truth is the Lord Himself appearing from
heaven. Paul wrote on this subject in a letter to the
Corinthians.
1
Corinthians 15:47-49
47 The first man was of the earth, made of dust;
the second Man is the Lord from heaven. 48 As
was the man of dust, so also are those who are
made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so
also are those who are heavenly. 49 And as we
have borne the image of the man of dust, we
shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.

That heavenly
image we bear is the Lord that the world is groaning in pain
to see. When we hear the trumpet which is the message of
Truth from God's kingdom we are raised up from our carnal
corruptible nature and consciousness into that
immortal nature of the Lord from heaven. What the world
beholds is the Lord from heaven. It is the son of man
revealing himself through we who bear His image.
This event
happened during the days of Paul and the disciples, it has
happened again and again after their ministries. The world
might not notice but this is the truth.
THE GLORIFICATION AND REVELATION BEFORE THE
WORLD
Those who obey and learn obedience to the guidance of God's
spirit become worthy to reign and rule with Christ in life.
They are the ones who like Jesus will appear in the glory of
the Lord. The Lord confirmed from Heaven that He was pleased
with Jesus because he remained obedient unto death on the
cross. He remained faithfully dead to this world and alive
to God throughout His ministry. In likewise manner if we
obey the Lord and follow on in His truth and denying the
falsehood of self that we gained in this world we will be
counted worthy to reign in life and glory with Christ. If we
behave ourselves by receiving the truth meekly not like the
Israelis who were overthrown out of unbelief, in due season
He will exalt us, this is His promise.
He promises
that we will rule and reign with Him in Majesty, He says we
will stand as God before men and declare His glory. In due
season we will be translated into that heavenly Glory of God
which is Christ. The whole world will behold you in that
glory of the Lord being revealed through our bodies.
We conclude
this first part of this message by saying the Lord who is
the spirit reveals Himself to the world through the body of
Christ. The body of Christ today is the church of God
dispersed all over the world both in the seen and unseen
realms. The Lord reveals Himself through His body on earth,
He does this repeatedly throughout the ages even though men
will never comprehend this until it is revealed to them.
Like John says in His writings, they do not know us the same
way they did not recognize Jesus in the days of His
ministry.
1 John 3:1
3:1 Behold what manner of love the Father has
bestowed on us, that we should be called
children of God! Therefore the world does not
know us, because it did not know Him. |
We are
admonished to continue on in His word so that we be in Him
as He reveals Himself through us to the world.
